Unless otherwise specified, all regular meetings are held at the Trailside Center, 99th & Holmes, Kansas City, MO.
Setup and socializing: 6:30 PM. Meeting: 7 – 9 PM.
March 11th – Monday, Regular Meeting
Program: ‘Perennial Gardening’ by Master Gardener May Christensen
April 8th – Monday, Regular Meeting
Program: ‘Hybridizing For Beginners’ the John Weiler Method for Tall Bearded Iris with Dr. James Waddick.
April 15th – 20th - AIS National Convention, Dallas, Texas Iris Society of Dallas
May 4th & 5th – Region 18 Spring Meeting, Wichita, KS www.region18.com
May 11th – Spring Iris Show, Set up 8-10, Judging 10-Noon Open to public: Noon - 4 PM at The Trailside Center
May 11th & 12th – Iris Festival - Powell Gardens (tentative date)
May 13th – Monday 5:30 pm to dusk. Visit to the garden of Rick Davis. Members are welcome to arrive earlier in the afternoon to view the garden.
June 6th – 8th – Siberian Iris Convention, Lansing/Kalamazoo, Michigan. A Capital Idea
June 10th – Monday, Regular Meeting, Program: Louisiana Iris.
July 3rd – Wednesday, Booms and Blooms – Powell Gardens.
July 28th – Picnic & Member Auction, Setup at 12:30 to 4:00
August 24th – Saturday, Public Plant Sale, Trailside Center
September 9th – Monday, Regular Meeting, Beardless Auction.
October 14th – Monday, Regular Meeting. Program: 2013 Siberian Iris Convention.
November 11th – Monday, Regular Meeting. Program: 2013 AIS National Convention.
December 1st – Holiday Pot Luck Set up 12:30 Meal at 1:00
